Fantastic news for anyone using the iPlayer addon for Windows Media Center, the author ‘ddfczm’ is redeveloping the app to extent support to other services, such as Seesaw and Put.io..
I have re-written the code from scratch to make it a bit easier to make plugins, so given i can find some time i would also like to make plugins for some other services. However, most services aren’t as nice as iPlayer when it comes to WMV/MP4 streams so most of them would probably be flash hosted in the MCE browser (lame). So also post your suggestions for new plugins too. Because of this i am going to rename the project MCE-IPTV.
If you’re a user and want a high quality product at the end I would strongly recommend getting involved with the forum and the UserVoice feature request and voting. Lets hope it comes out soon!
