Loving this office, it’s one way to make sure no one falls asleep in meetings!

Designed by Scandinavian architecture practice Schmidt Hammer Lassen, the new headquarters for Nykredit, one of the leading mortgage banks in Denmark, is quite stunning. The 10-story-tall structure allows for an ample amount of natural light thanks to its impressive glass facade. The most striking part of the design has to be the three suspended meeting rooms that are cantilevered off of the third and fifth floors.

Stunning industrial office conversion…

After standing vacant for nearly 30 years, the St. Louis Municipal Power House building at 1100 Clark Avenue in downtown St. Louis, opened as the new offices of Cannon Design in September 2008. In 2007, the firm purchased the 19,000 sqf building and provided all design, development, and construction management services for its restoration, renovation and adaptive reuse—an investment that represents the firm’s confidence in the future of the city of St. Louis.

Gorgeous office, amazing chairs and one super long hacked Ikea table…

For his perfect home office setup, Tom needed a total of three desks. He planned on merging two desks to form a bigger desk for his computer workstation. Another desk would be used for work that didn’t involve computers. This actually makes a lot of sense, especially if you have enough room for this to work.
