In the coming months you will be able to use your iPad or Android tablet to control touch interface controls within Photoshop, in Adobe’s first example there’s a compelling paint mixing control and a touch tools panel…

Called Photoshop CS5 Extended, the free update has plugs that allow third-party applications to communicate directly with it in real time. These plugs will be publicly accessible through something called the Photoshop Touch Software Development Kit, meaning that any app developer would be able to integrate their applications with desktop Photoshop.

As everything is available the 3rd parties, I think we can expect some very interesting cross over apps coming later this year. Via Gizmodo

Awesome artwork…

My fondness for hyperrealistic art led me to this strangely mesmerizing sculpture by French contemporary artist Daniel Firman. Exhibited back in 2008, this life-size piece was seen at the Fontainebleau Castle in Paris, France. Called Wursa, the sculpture is balancing on its trunk 18,000 km above the earth. Firman consulted with a professional taxidermist to construct this piece making it look as real as possible.
