Maddie the Coonhound Standing On Things

I do love these odd ball travel photos by Theron Humphrey…

He worked in a commercial studio for a few years and then in 2011, he woke up one morning and hit the road. He decided that he wanted to tell people’s stories. So he kicked off his photo project This Wild Idea and he is traveling around the US, taking a photo of one person a day for 365 days.

During these travels, Humphrey began a side project that focuses on his trusty traveling companion, Maddie, perched atop various things in each state. And thus began the “super serious project about dogs and physics” playfully named Maddie on Things.

Photographed by two of the most respected fashion photographers today, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, singer Adele looks absolutely stunning in these images for the March issue of Vogue. The strength and poise that Adele carries onto the stage in her performances is striking in these still photos. She said, “I’m a big personality. I walk into a room, big and tall and loud.”

Alex Thomson Walks the Hugo Boss Keel

That is one seriously impressive stunt…

At first glance I was skeptical about this photograph but after further investigation I found this whole story to be completely captivating…and insane! Alex Thomson is a talented sailor from Britain. In this photograph, dressed in his most fashionable Hugo Boss attire, he performed a risky stunt that most people would never dream of doing.

The video is well worth a look too, via My Modern Metropolis.

Lucky to Photograph The Wave, Arizona - My Modern Metropolis

Check out these amazing photos by Simon J. Byrne of  The Wave in Arizona…

The Wave is a sandstone rock formation near the Arizona and Utah border that’s famous among photographers for its gorgeous rock formations. Located in the Paria Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness, the renowned Wave is made of Jurassic-age Navajo sandstone or 190-million-year-old sand dunes that have turned to rock. Stacked one atop another, the dunes calcified in vertical and horizontal layers.
