I completely missed that the amazing Traktor DJ software has made the leap to the iPad, after a few days I have to say I am completely blown away by the feature set and flexibility.

Using the app on a multi touch surface means that you can have the precision and timing that is really hard to achieve when trying the same tasks on the mac, for me it replaces the need for my Kontrol S2 and makes everything so much more portable.

On thing I love is that the database of inpoints and loops you make when setting up tracks can be synced to dropbox, giving you complete peace of mind.

If you love music, and have an iPad, then is this is a must have app…

Unlike most other popular DJ apps for the iPad, Traktor DJ doesn’t have any virtual turntables or other real-world controls displayed on the screen — instead, you directly touch and manipulate the waveforms of your tracks themselves.

Traktor immediately slices beats into tappable areas as it loads tracks from your iTunes library, so you can jump around in a song simply by tapping on the waveform, and you can set loops anywhere just by tapping with two fingers on the screen.

An interesting concept, get in now to save $10 off the retail version and get the project off the ground at the same time…

Constructed of a patented metal and plastic moulding, the Infinite Loop stand is essentially a four-foot-long length of plastic coated wire that snaps together. But it’s strong enough to support the weight of a tablet and can be formed into any shape depending on your needs. If you want to use it away from the desk, there are even clips and suction cups to keep the tablet in place.
