I love this robot wallpaper design by Dutch design label Studio Ditte. It makes me want to redo my son’s room right now! After a journey through containers with small hardware parts and disassembling appliances, Studio Ditte brings a unique robot wallpaper. The army of friendly robots is made from old prints and decorated with small finds. The robot wallpaper is a blend of the nostalgic and the digital age.

The twister restaurant, Kiev

Love the interesting range of textures used in this new restaurant…

Twister is a newly opened restaurant in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Drawing inspiration from the upward pull of a tornado, designers Sergey Makhno and Vasily Butenko created a two-story dining area that hovers above the floor on super-slim legs, complete with light fixtures that resemble rain drops.

The Sea Ranch home office

Being inspired by this beautiful home office, between the clean lines of the desk and the beautiful Eames desk chairs and of course the stunning window roof line.

The Sea Ranch is a rugged landscape, dotted with distinctive homes, that extends for about ten miles on either side of Highway One in coastal Sonoma County, California. The building design constitutes an architectural vernacular that is world-renowned. Its hallmark is the attempt to blend man-made structures with their natural setting, and to “live lightly on the land.”

Modern airstream office

Oh my! What a beautifully restored and modernized Airstream trailer, complete with arm mounted iMac and home office, impressive work!

This baby was lovingly restored by Santa Barbara architect Matthew Hofmann. She’s small, efficient, renovated with recycled and sustainable materials and is the live + work space for Matthew and his girlfriend.
