A beautiful design, lets hope it drives as good as it looks…

The jaguar C-X16 will be debuted in front of a world audience at the Frankfurt Motor Show starting next week. The project was dubbed the X16 because it is the 16th project that Ian Callum, Jag’s star design director, and his team have worked on. The production concept is also being labeled as the successor to the E-Type that rewrote the manual on what a desirable car should look like over half a century ago.

The new model is expected to do the same for a whole new generation of luxury car lovers and C-X16 is being looked on as Jag’s answer to the Cayman by Porsche with its state-of-the-art hybrid technology and its beautiful blend of performance and exterior beauty.

Ford previewed their latest Evos plug-in hybrid concept vehicle, with the next generation of Ford SYNC in car computing…

According to Ford, the vehicle gives its driver the ability to tap into this “personal cloud” of information at any time — for example, picking up where the driver left off on that favorite song he or she was listening to inside the house. The vehicle’s smart systems monitor its driver’s “physical state and workload,” adjusting the car’s handling, heating, cooling and music to suit the driver’s level of alertness, perhaps even keeping him from falling asleep.

We especially like its ability to pre-cool or preheat the car, making sure it’s set at the driver’s favorite temperature by the time he plops down into its spectacular-looking interior. A Ford spokesperson says, “The car gets to know you and can act as a personal assistant to handle some of the usual routines of a daily commute.”
