Fantastic idea, but can someone stick Windows Phone OS on their instead?

We hope someone over at any of the major smart phone manufacturers takes note of designer Alan Gerardo Farías’ Glance concept. The concept’s slim form factor is designed to slip into tight jean pockets while a secondary bottom display alerts you to the time, tweets or email updates with a quick glance. Brilliant!

In a follow up to the the preview of ‘ddfczm’ latest web streaming project for media center, previously featured here, there’s now another update in the form of a UI preview video, showing off the extensible multi service addon for Windows Media Center although an early preview and still in development, the UI looks sharp and very functional. This is one I’m really looking forward to testing.

Lovely idea…

Anyone who’s played Pictionary knows that it’s more about speed than precision. This ad campaign by Ogilvy Malaysia humorously illustrates that very point. For their brilliant execution, the agency won a a Press Gold Lion award at the 2011 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

An eye catching brand evangelism bar…

Based on the central design theme, “Whisky Conversations”, the space was designed where multiple layered conversations are woven into the Johnnie Walker journey, complemented by the graphic designs from LOVE. Upon stepping into the Johnnie Walker House, raw ingredients such as malt and peat are lined against the wall of the entrance, acting as an important design exemplar to represent the fundaments of whisky making. Accompanied by copper lamps modelled after whisky stills, the mood of anticipation is imminent while the journey begins.
