He’s nuts but it’s still a beautiful piece of work…

Imagine taking your 0.5 mechanical pencil and drawing on a large piece of white paper for 10 hours a day, seven days a week, over a course of 10 full months. Think you’d give up after a few hours or maybe even a few days? Well, it’s safe to say that most people would.

Love the interesting range of textures used in this new restaurant…

Twister is a newly opened restaurant in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Drawing inspiration from the upward pull of a tornado, designers Sergey Makhno and Vasily Butenko created a two-story dining area that hovers above the floor on super-slim legs, complete with light fixtures that resemble rain drops.

An awesome shoot…

In a mix of ready-to-wear and colorful couture styles by the likes of Dior and Giorgio Armani, Votjova is a stunning sight to behold. Bold fashion photographer Mark Pillai brings a lightheartedness to these photos that makes for a playful spring collection.

Beautiful outdoor space…

After her resounding success of her in Casa Cor’s 2008 edition, Fernanda Marques now presents her 2009 version of her Loft 24/7. This time, in the form of a spacious bungalow, of about 250m², where nature plays much more than a mere supporting role: one just has to note the intense use of daylight. The use of materials in their rough state. Its total openness to the outside.

Great piece of design, it looks so conventional, except for the water!

This modern-but-site-specific dutch houseboat was designed by Plus31, and even in the packed residential waterways of Amsterdam it will definitely stand out from the crowd.
