Oh these are amazing, simple and inexpensive…

Those rectangular chalkboards are so, well, rectangular. Why scribble within four boundaries when a creature is so much cooler? Apply these over-sized wall stickers to any clean, dry surface; then write away with ordinary chalk.

The 12″ x 6″ wireless keyboard is remarkably small. We were slightly disappointed to discover that its arched design is just for looks, because the bottom is still flat. It doesn't partially wrap itself around your knee like you’d think, but its gently arched keys make for easy typing.

Their spacing is close to that of a full-sized keyboard, and its key travel is slightly shallower, but still feels great. We also like its soft and quiet typing; if you like clickety-clackety-style keyboards, this one’s not for you.

Lovely open creative space…

Parliament, a graphic design/marketing company in Portland, Oregon, have shared some photos of their office interior design with us. The design features a number of pieces made from salvaged and reclaimed materials, including salvaged pizza ovens, street signs, and wood from old crates, a barn and a church.

We’ve all been there: You dropped your cupcake on the ground. Did it land icing up, down? Can you just scrape off the icing? How many hours have you lost trying to decide? Here’s a time-saving flow chart to help out.

Interesting mix of new and old…

In order to to restore the original layout to a Georgian townhouse in central London, Henning Stummel Architects designed an extension that placed all the bathroom facilities into their own structure tacked on to the house and accessed via extending the openings to the existing fireplaces on the first three levels.

Chanel now sell sports goods. It’s probably a sign there are still people out there with more money than sense.

Lovely relaxing design, looks like it’s worth checking out…

I recently got back from a mini Vegas vacation and had a wonderful time. I stayed at the Palms Place Hotel & Spa for the second time in a row and think I have a new favorite Vegas Spa as well. While all the amenities at the Spa are very nice, the Hammam is absolutely exquisite. The Hammam encompasses the age old traditions of Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Spain, and combines these traditional elements with a magnificent and innovative use of design and technology.

What to stay somewhere special, check out this hotel within a jet…

Sauna, jacuzzi, 24/7 hostess, 3 flat screens, Blu-Ray player…… sounds like a hotel suite and half hey? What about the Cold War-era cockpit? Yep, you heard correctly… Cold War-era cockpit! Serving as a restaurant for 15 years following German reunification, this 1960, 120 seater plane, that was once an East German government vehicle serving the likes of Erich Honecker, is now a full-on luxury hotel suite, grounded at Teuge Airport.

Available to purchase for a very reasonable $30

Rivet Gallery in Columbus, Ohio invited me to participate in their group art show entitled “We’ll Be Right Back…After These Messages”. The show pays homage to the classic cartoons of the 80′s and early 90′s. Those two time periods were the prime of my childhood, so I created a piece that showcases one of my favorite shows from that era…He-Man and The Masters of the Universe. I’ve been dying to do a fan piece for a while now so this was the perfect way to celebrate nostalgia.

Smart design for portable power generation…

The Eolic is a wind-powered foldable generator. Designed by Marcos Madia, Sergio Ohashi and Juan Manuel Pantano. This concept is designed to create an easily foldable power generator to be used in the construction at places where there is no electric service. The generator can also be used to replace the electric service in small housing.

All the equipment can be stored together in one package in order to provide an easy operation. It is made of the ultra light materials like aluminum and carbon fiber.
